-When is the best time to see dolphins in Virginia Beach?
Dolphins are here year round although many of them are migratory. They are most frequently seen in the warm months from May to October when the water is warmer. They prefer temperate to tropical water and are seen more frequently during these months.

-Is there a time of day dolphins are more active?
Not necessarily. There isn't a specific time of day when dolphins are more or less active. They are mainly driven by food and nursing their young. We have seen them all times of the day!
-Do you fall out?
Falling out does happen. We will be kayaking on mostly calm water so it is unusual to fall out. Kayaks are very stable.
-What style of kayaks do you use?
Tandem sit-on-top kayaks
-Is kayaking hard?
Kayaking is easy and just about anyone can participate. It is easier than riding a bike.
-What should I bring for the tour?
Hat, sunglasses, sunscreen, shoes you don't mind getting wet and other than that as little as possible.
-Are dolphin sightings guaranteed?
Sightings are not guaranteed but with conditions permitting very likely.
-Are there weight limits?
Yes kayaks do have specific weight limits of 400 lbs.(2 people combined)
-Is there a minimum age?
Yes, children must be at least 7 years old to participate and if under 12 paddling with an adult.
-Do you get wet?
Yes, plan on getting wet although not always drenched.
